All our Parish churches welcome visitors ... at all times and seasons ...
WINTER visitors make up a large proportion of annual visitors to the area.
We're always conscious of road conditions and the new experiences people encounter as they enter a new driving environment ... they can be daunting! Our congregations pray for your safety on the roads.
We also pray for your safety on the slopes, please ski sensibly and avoid situations you're incapable of achieving ... go slow, practice, and move to more advanced skiing gradually as you gain confidence, tell your friends to do the same.
If you encounter difficulties during winter contact our Chaplain to the snow, Rev'd Graham Morrison 0421 445 758 OR firstname.lastname@example.org , and he'll be glad to offer you help or counselling as you require. Please take up his offer to chat with you and your family and friends.
11.00 a.m. at St James Boloco ... on the Snowy Valley Way. a beautiful church, with beautiful people ... JOIN US
If you're able, bring a plate of something to share for lunch and fellowship after the service.
The Rev'd Graham Morrison will be running the service with Communion [all welcome to participate] by Rev'd Lloyd Bennett.
TUESDAY NIGHTS ...
Every Tuesday night through the winter season, in JINDABYNE ..........
SPECIAL SEASON CHURCH ... Tuesdays 6.00 p.m. St Andrews ANGLICAN Church [street behind Mitre 10] ... join us for service, singing, chat, cuppa, bring your snacks and join us ... it's very informal, come as you are - just as you leave the slopes - happy to have a rest and join with like minded people to relax and review your day up the mountain.
If you're not a skier, you'll definitely need to join in and have some friendly faces around to talk something other than snow and skiing!
Whatever you're doing - one week, one day, one month, the whole season - even the whole year - join us in Winter for warm fellowship in God's wonderful New South Wales winter wonderland.
Gegedzerick, Boloco, and Maffra have no services through winter, but please head to the churches and have a browse around.
Gegedzerick is open for those who'd like to pray in front of the beautiful glass window and look out at the wonderful world around. Wander around the cemetery while you're there - some graves go back 150 years!
Boloco is open, you can gaze in to this beautiful rustic local stone church through the locked gate [unfortunately some visitors weren't too kind to this church].
Maffra has closed doors but you can head to the property to see an old country church ... off Snowy Valley Way toward Nimmitabel ... check out the giant windmills while you're visiting there.
